As of 1st of January 2018 legal entities that have not operated during the preceding financial year are not obliged to submit their AFS with the Commercial Register. However, the fact that the company was non-operational, shall be submitted to the Commercial Register. No taxes will be due on submission. Last but not least, the companies without commercial activity shall continue to submit their tax returns to the tax authorities as per regulations of the Corporate Income Taxes Act.
