New anti COVID19 measures until 21 December 2020

According to the order issued by the Minister of Health on November 27 2020 at 11:30 p.m. new anti-epidemic measures are introduced, which will be in force until December 21 2020.

The new measures include the suspension of educational activities, including extracurricular activities and sports activities for students. Kindergartens and higher education institutions also remain closed, and state exams are postponed, except for specialties in the healthcare system.

All cultural events for the period are postponed, and only the theaters will continue to perform, but with a significantly reduced audience – only 30% of the total capacity of the hall is allowed, in strict compliance with anti-epidemic measures.

All gyms, gambling halls, casinos, shopping malls and restaurants will remain closed until December 21 2020. Exceptions for shopping malls are grocery stores, hospitals, pharmacies, drugstores, opticians, pet stores, banks, insurers, payment service providers, telecommunications operators’ offices and other communications service providers. Catering establishments reserve the right to deliver or prepare food for pick-up.

Group trips in the country and abroad are also suspended. No more than 15 people are allowed at private events such as weddings, celebrations on any occasion, or funerals.

Hospitals are also introducing new restrictions on the admission of patients, and only patients for organ or tissue transplantation, cancer patients, women in labor and people with ongoing rehabilitation will be allowed. Visits from outsiders are prohibited, except for terminally ill patients.
