The scope of areas that can apply for compensation is being expanded. “Other passenger land transport not elsewhere classified” is added to the existing ones.
Specification of the method of calculation of compensations – The amount of funds for maintaining the employment of each employee is calculated by dividing the insurance income by the number of working days in the month for which the funds are paid and multiplied by the number of working days for which they are paid.
The term for which compensation can be claimed is extended – October 1 to December 31.
The compensation will be paid after receiving a positive decision from the European Commission on the compatibility of the aid with the domestic market.
The changes shall enter into force as of 1 October 2020. Applications for payment of funds for the period from 1 July to 30 September 2020, submitted before 15 October 2020, shall be considered and financed in accordance with the current procedure.
