On 14 March 2019, the Communications Regulation Commission adopted Resolution No 112 on the adoption of a Radio Spectrum Regulatory Policy in relation to Decision No 243/2012 /EU of the European Parliament and of the Council. With the Regulatory Policy, the Commission ensures that our country will contribute to ensuring wireless broadband connectivity in the single market, including the creation of conditions for the deployment of 5G networks and innovative technologies in Bulgaria and Europe. The Policy creates lenient conditions for the use of radio spectrum in ranges, where possible, facilitate the introduction of new digital technologies and services, promotes investment and competition, with the aim of increasing the country’s economic growth and the benefits for consumers of high quality services.
