In connection with Decree No. 317 of the President of the Republic of Bulgaria, the mandatory reporting of respective persons liable through the National Waste Information System is postponed until 01.01.2021. This is a second delay after the first one between 01.01.2018 until 01.01.2019. This means that persons generating, and conduction operations with waste will submit applications for the issuance, amendment and supplementation of permits, annual reports and accounts according to the current procedure. Starting from 01.01.2021 the use of paper will be eliminated, and the existing registers and files will be kept electronically. Submission of documents will be done only electronically through the National Waste Management System.
