The Minister of Justice issues a regulation for the unitary register of court experts

The Ministry supports (and this is now official) an Information System named “Unitary register of experts”, which contains public and non-public part with a data for the individuals mentioned in article 398, paragraph 1 and 2 in The Judiciary Act.

Data in the public part: 1 – the three names of the experts, 2 – science degree, 3 – special abilities and knowledge in the specific area, 4 – judicial district, 5 – education.

Data in the non-public part (confidential): 1 – identification number, 2 – ID card number, 3 – Address, Telephone number and Email, 4 – additional data on education, 5 – additional data on the experts, including activity on expert opinions.

The data is introduced immediately after approval of the lists of experts. The public data can be available through the information system RegiX, for providing free public access according to Access to Public Information Act.

Official access to the register is given to: 1 – employees of The Ministry of Justice determined by order of the Minister of Justice, 2 – court registrars, 3 – judges, prosecutors, investigators, 4 – the experts.

The ordinance for amendment of Ordinance № 2, 2015 applies from August 1, 2022.
