Today, the National Assembly elected the new composition of the Commission for Protection of Competition (CPC). Mr. Petko Nikolov remains Head of the CPC. Ms. Angelina Mileva (attorney-at-law), who until now has been a Director of the “Department for Abuse with Monopolistic and Dominant Position” with the CPC, was elected as Deputy Chairperson. The committee member Mr. Alexander Alexandrov (attorney-at-law) who is in the Commission since 2009, also remained on his position as a Member of the CPC. Mr. Alexander Alexandrov is a longtime member of the Central Election Commission from the quota of Bulgarian Socialist Party.
Ms. Vesela Antonova (attorney-at-law/EU integration) also remained in the lines of the CPC. The Members of the Parliament elected for a Member of the CPC Ms. Elena Dimova- Mushmova, who started working in the Commission in 1997 and from 2006 is a Director of the “Department for Public Procurement”.
