In the end of August 2013 the Law Firm drafted extremely elaborated appeal which, as admitted publicly by the Municipality officials, becomes the main obstacle for accepting the city plans for the new metro lines as they were proposed by the respective architecture company and the Municipality. We found and grounded a number of breaches of Bulgarian construction laws, of other legal provisions protecting the public health and public environment as well of the citizens’ general legal rights. Currently, the plans for the construction of the new metro lines are returned for revision and change to their authors.
