In July 2013, we were contacted in order to make a contribution to a book to be soon published, entitled “Enforcement of Foreign Judgments”, edited for Kluwer Law International of the Netherlands. We answered an extensive questionnaire regarding the Enforcement of Foreign Judgments in Bulgaria, which had both theoretical and practical importance. The questionnaire contained 26 questions, each with several subcategories of queries. Furthermore, the correct development of the questions supposed excellent knowledge of EU Regulations in the matter, International Treaties of which Bulgaria is a signatory and Interne Bulgarian Law.
The study’s objective was to make a comparative analysis of the issue of Enforcement of Foreign Judgments in a number of countries, including Bulgaria and we were glad to take part in it.
