In 2024, Ilieva, Voutcheva & Co. Law Firm provided expert legal support in resolving complex property ownership disputes for two long-term clients: a private individual with extensive property holdings in Sofia and Balkancar G.Kostov JSC.
The private client’s cases involved disputes with the Sofia Municipality and the Bulgarian State over the ownership of land and property she had acquired in Sofia. The legal issues spanned several decades, requiring extensive research into past regulatory actions, expropriations, and privatizations.
Similarly, Balkancar G.Kostov JSC, a large state-owned company turned private, required defence of its property rights against the Municipality’s claims over its recreational complex on the Black Sea. Both clients benefited from our thorough examination of historical property records, regulatory procedures, and court representation.
