In 2024, Ilieva, Voutcheva & Co. Law Firm provided expert legal support to Tessa Green Energy Ltd., a company focused on developing a green energy wind park near Varna, Bulgaria.
The project required comprehensive legal support in 11 court cases related to appeals against compensation for easements established by law over agricultural land owned by third parties and the municipal approval process. Our team represented the client in each of the cases, defending the detailed zoning plan, the procedures for appointing an expropriation and valuation commission, and the compensation protocols issued for the respective agricultural properties.
The disputes involved claims for higher compensation from landowners and challenges to the municipal approval process.
