In 2011 we were able to help a foreign citizen to successfully acquire in a relatively short period Bulgarian citizenship. The latter was done on the basis of Article 16 of the Bulgarian Citizenship Act, i.e. a person with special contribution to the Republic of Bulgaria and whose naturalization is in the interest of Bulgaria.
Regarding this procedure, Ilieva, Voutcheva & Co Law Firm drafted all required documents and all of its legal advisors were permanently available to answer of the client’s questions and inquiries. We actually provided the representation of the client before the Bulgarian State authorities and mediate the communication thereto. At the end of 2011, the final documents were executed by the Vice-President of the Republic of Bulgaria, thus concluding the procedure of acquisition of Bulgarian citizenship.
