Undisclosed shareholders engaged us with the review and overall legal assistance in the process of negotiation of a shareholders agreement for the operation of a joint venture between their Bulgarian company and a foreign partner – one of the leading companies for project development of renewables and also the owner of the biggest solar farm in Bulgaria with power of more than 100 MW. The parties were willing to establish a company that shall develop around 12 solar plant projects in Bulgaria as the shareholders determined also the structure of these future projects, the engagement of each party and also the business frame for their operation. The complexity of the case from a legal point of view arose from the fact that the shareholders agreement also included matters related to the future operation of the new companies that shall be established. We soon anticipate starting work on the first project as our team shall lead the entire legal work.
