In the beginning of 2021, a client of ours decided to invest in a several real estate projects in Sofia, Bulgaria. He entrusted Ilieva, Voutcheva & Co. Law Firm to advise him and perform the necessary legal work to establish a joint venture for the development of these projects with foreign investors.
Once the business plan for the project was determined, we consulted him and his newly attracted partners on the legal structure matching their plan. Our work involved draft of all necessary documents and the negotiations of their terms, assistance during the procedures for opening of bank accounts and anti-money laundering compliance for all companies involved. The joint venture is already established and has acquired a SPV for the development of its first project.
