Banking operations of Bank of Cyprus in Bulgaria are advised by Ilieva, Voutcheva & Co. Law Firm. The bank operations are focused on financing of various businesses and thus the engagements of the law firm are related to establishment and management of encumbrance including their release. The most recent project consisted of several different stages as we consulted the bank on the legal procedures and their obligation in the course of removal of mortgages, special pledges, etc. as well as the debtor in relation with the removal of the established special pledge of its shares. We also drafted all documents necessary and represented the Bank with the competent Bulgarian authorities.
