Our client provides consultancy services on the preparation of investment and non-investment projects implemented under EU-funded programs, national and international programs, project management funded by European funds, monitoring and reporting on the implementation of projects under international programs and schemes, of pre-investment studies in the field of environment, legal services and consultations. It provided services to local and regional structures such as municipalities. The tax administration did not acknowledge tax credit under tax supplies. During the tax audit the tax administration failed to gather all the relevant evidence, which resulted in incorrect tax treatment of the supplies and wrong legal conclusions, based on unclear factual findings. We advised the client how to prove the legality of the supplies through use of court experts and provision of additional evidence.
