In June 2018, the Law Firm was asked for assistance by a Law Firm, based in Poland for case that required corporate legal advice for their client in both countries. We were required to review the agreement governed by Polish law with respect to verification of its compliance with the Bulgarian law. The agreement implemented an incentive programme for employees of the Bulgarian affiliate of major Polish company with extensive business presence in Bulgaria. The client desired to introduce a new bonus system to a part of its key employees where they would receive part of the shares of the company if they achieve certain prior set goals.
Our lawyers advised the client on all corporate related issues even beyond the initially set tasks in order to secure the interests of the client. The difficulties in the task were related to the tight schedule and the need of quick and prompt advice.
